Tour Overview
Why Visit Triyuginarayan Temple?
The little village of Triyugi Narayan is situated in the Rudraprayag District's Ukhimath Block.Because Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati were married here, it is a wellknown wedding location.Triyugi Narayan temple was constructed in honor of Lord Vishnu because the marriage took place in front of him.According to popular belief, Lord Vishnu organized this extraterrestrial wedding and served as Parvati's brother, while Lord Brahma served as a priest.
The precise location of the wedding is also marked by the Brahma Shila in front of the temple. The three holy kunds, or ponds, Rudra Kund, Vishnu Kund, and Brahma Kund, are visible and have therapeutic qualities.According to Hindu lore, the Saraswati Kund, which sprung from Lord Vishnu's navel, replenishes these kunds. Before entering the temple, many Hindu visitors take a sacred plunge in these kunds.
Triyuginarayan as Wedding Destination

Additionally, there are couples in this group who would prefer to have their edding ceremony conducted in a religious setting. Triyuginarayan is becoming more and more well-known as a wedding destination. In the past, a lot of famous people got married here in order to receive Lord Vishnu and Shiva's blessings for a happy marriage.
