Ayodhya – The Sacred Birthplace of Lord Rama
Ayodhya, located in the state of Uttar Pradesh, is one of the seven Moksha-puris (sacred cities of liberation) in Hinduism and holds a place of paramount importance in Indian spiritual history. Revered as the birthplace of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, Ayodhya is a city where mythology, faith, and culture converge. Pilgrims also visit the Guptar Ghat on the Sarayu River, where Lord Rama is believed to have taken Jal Samadhi.
Ayodhya is not only a religious destination but also a center for spiritual festivals and traditions, especially during Ram Navami, Diwali, and Kartik Purnima, when the city is lit with lamps and echoes with devotional hymns.
