Day 5
Cross the Tibetan Han Klumbode, after customs, drive to Jilong/Jilong City. (about 40 km) Full day acclimatization
Activities
  • Drive to the Friendship Bridge at the Gyirong border. Complete all immigration formalities, meet your Chinese speaking guide and drive to Gyirong. This is a new Tibetan city developed for future Chinese rail traffic. Visit the town and surrounding villages. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6
Gyirong/Gyirong to Saga (4500m – 240km)
Activities
  • After breakfast, we continue from Gyirong/Gyirong to Saga at around 6:00am. This day offers views of Tibet’s only 8000m peak Sheshapangma and Lake Pikutso. Cross the holy river Brahmaputra before reaching the town of Saga. Before crossing, we stop for holy baptism and then head to Lake Manasarovar. Overnight at Saga Hotel (the best hotel).

Day 7
SANGA – (4500m – 385km) Lake Manasarovar.
Activities
  • After breakfast, depart from Saga Yatra to Lake Manasarovar, about 5 to 6 hours. This day you will enter the Kailash region of Tibet. You will see Darshan of Lake Manasarovar and Kailash before entering Parikrama of Lake Manasarovar. Stop at Darshan to enjoy the view and continue to Zu Monastery on the left side of Lake Manasarovar. The road is a little difficult to walk but now you can travel in a comfortable bus. Touch the holy water of Lake Manasarovar. Overnight in tent or guest house.

Yatra from Lake Manasarovar to Darchen (4600 m - 35 km) (Holy Full Moon Bath)
Activities
  • In the morning, perform holy bath, puja and havan at the lake. We will choose a special spot to bathe in Lake Manasarovar and worship Lord Shiva. Free day for all. After lunch, we drive to Darchen. It takes about 2 hours to drive to Darchen and stay overnight there. Get ready for the pilgrimage on the second day.

Day 9
Darchen to Diraphuk Kailash Parikrama (4890 m – 12 km)
Activities
  • First day of Kailash Parikrama This is the first day of Kailash Parikrama. The day starts with a light breakfast early in the morning. We drive a short distance via Yamadwar to Darbpche. We will walk for about 4 to 5 hours each way on this day. If you want to ride, you can do so directly from here at an additional cost (horses/yaks can be booked directly at a fee). The yaks will carry all our goods and equipment. Stay in a very simple mud house in the hostel for the night. Best view of the North Face of Mount Kailash. Overnight in a guest house in Diraphuk.

Day 10
Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk kailash parikrama (4790mts. 22kms.)
Activities
  • his is the longest trekking day in the Kailash Yatra. The sacred trek goes to Dolmala Pass at an altitude of 5630 m. The weather at Dolmala Pass is unpredictable and snowstorms can occur at any time. Therefore, we try to start our pilgrimage as early as possible. On the way we can see the darshan of Shivatsal, the Cave of Good and Evil, the Blessing Stone and Gaurikund, but it is very inconvenient to touch them, so pray from a distance. Overnight in the hostel on the way to the Julthup Temple Guest House.

Day 11
Zhulthulphuk to Darchen Kailash Kora - Drive to Saga (465Km. 4500mts. 8 km)
Activities
  • This is the last day of Mount Kailash and pilgrims descend from this point and drive to Darkhan (to meet the pilgrims who did not go to Parikma). After completing Mount Parikarma/Kola, we start our journey back to Kathmandu and return to Saga via Lake Manasarovar via the same route and then continue to Saga. Hotel in Saga.

Saga - Jilong/Kerung (230km - 3600mts.)

  • After breakfast the Kailash Manasarovar tour journey proceeds to Jilong via Saga same route.Again short break in Saga and Brahmaputra river then continue to Jilong.Final dinner in Tibet side cooked by our staff.
