Trekking Tips:

Kathgodam to Pithoragarh (180 kms/7-8 hours) 1514 m

– Drive 180 kms to Pithoragarh via Kathgodam.
– We start early and first visit Bhimtal and then visit the Neem Kiroli Baba temple in Kanchi Dham. After visiting Neem Kiroli Baba, we drive to Jageshwar temple and reach Pithoragarh.
– After reaching Pithoragarh, have dinner and stay overnight at the hotel (nice 3 star hotel with double/triple rooms)

Pithoragarh to Dharchula (100 kms/about 3 hours) 915 m

– After breakfast, we continue to Dharchula via Hualing.
– The journey is about 100 kms and takes about 3 hours by jeep.
– We will complete the paperwork for medical clearance and inner line approval. We will go to Nepal if we can (Important note: we have crossed the international border between Nepal and China and need to obtain an entry permit.)
– You will stay overnight in a rest house/tent and luggage will also be provided.

Dharchula to Gunji/Nabi (80km) 3000m

– After breakfast in the morning, we took a jeep to Gunji.

– We reached Gunji in the afternoon. On the way, we also visited the beautiful villages of Nabi area like Chialekh, Garbyang and Napalchu.

– Overnight stay in rest house/tents.

Gunji-Kalapani-Navidhang-Nabi (Om Parvat Darshan) (3050 m)

– From Kalapani, drive to Navidhang for Om Parvat Darshan, 35 kms, 45 minutes.

– Here, we came across Om Parvat and the natural form of snow in Om Parvat, ॐ (Aum Shinrikyo). At Om Parvat, we performed darshan/puja/meditation and then returned to NABI.

– Overnight at the streamside camp.

Nabi-Jollingkong, visit Adi Kailash (30 km/approx. 1 hour), 4572 m above sea level

– After breakfast, visit nearby attractions such as Kunti Parvat, etc.

– Walk through Kuti village. The second half continues to Jollingkong for acclimatization (cold weather and altitude). Guests have a chance to wander around and visit Gauri Kund.

– Overnight stay in the guest house.

Nabi – Dharchula (14 km/1 hr) 3700 m

– Experience the panoramic ambience of the sacred Adi Kailash in the early morning.

– Visit the Parvati Temple, 3 km from the campsite, and we also get a chance to experience the Parikrama of Parvati Sarovar Kund.

Dharchula to Kathgodam (270 km/7/8 hrs)

– Check out after breakfast in the morning and drive to Kathgodam.
