How to Reach Adi Kailash Mountain
There are various ways to reach Kathgodam/Dharchulla (the starting point of the holy yatra). You can choose your options by bus, train or air.
By Train: The closest railway station is Kathgodam/Haldwani.
By Bus: You can reach Kathgodam/Dharchulla/Haldwani by direct bus from Delhi.
By Air: There are few flights that operate from Delhi or Dehradun to the nearest airport of Pantnagar. From there, you can easily get a bus or taxi.
Formalities & Documentation
You will need to complete some formalities and provide crucial documents to embark on this journey.
PCC: This is a police clearance certificate that you have to acquire from your local police station to declare that you are not involved in any illegal or wrong activities.
Medical Certificate: Get a medical certificate of yours from a government hospital doctor to prove that you are physically fit for this trip.
Other than this, you need documents such as:
· A valid photo identity proof like a passport, Aadhar card or Voter card.
· The latest coloured passport-size photo
· An affidavit that you will be responsible for any type of incident during the travel.
