Tour Overview
Lord Shiva is one of the most worshiped divinities of Hindus and Amarnath Temple is one of the most significant pilgrimage spots of Hindu which is situated in the Jammu and Kashmir district, India. It holds an altitude of 3,888 meters from ocean level and furthermore considers one of the 18 Maha Shakti Peethas. It is believed that Lord Shiva disclosed His mystery of Immortality to Devi Parvati in this place.
Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1
Jammu / Srinagar– Srinagar
Activities
- Arrive Jammu Railway Station or Srinagar Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer to Srinagar Hotel. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure & Yatra preparation. Dinner & Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 2
Srinagar – Sonmarg – Baltal – Amarnath Ji
Activities
- On the second day of your Amarnath Yatra Tour Package by Helicopter, you will be transferred to Neelgrath in Baltal by car. Neelrgath is where the helipad is located. If Weather permitiing, helicopters from Baltal operate between 6:00 Am to 5:00 PM. The helicopter ride will drop you at Panjtarni helipad is around 6 Km from the Amarnath Holy Cave.
- As you land on the Panjtarni helipad, visit Amarnath Cave (6 Km from Panjtarni). You can go there on foot (2 hrs walk), hitch a pony and palki at your own cost. The cave is a sea of serenity and spirituality. Observe the huge shiv lingam which forms naturally from snow every year. Besides the massive Shiv lingam, two smaller ice lingams are believed to represent Ma Parvati and Lord Ganesha. Unveil the mysteries associated with the holy cave and if you get lucky enough, you may get to eyewitness a couple of the immortal pigeon. Once done with exploring the cave till your heart’s content, return to Panjtarni.
- After Darshan of holy cave, come back to Panjtarni to take the ride back to Neelgrath Helipad in Baltal. From here, you will be relocated back to Sonamarg. This completes your Amarnath Yatra by Helicopter.
- Arrival Transfer to Srinagar
- ***Optional add onn of 1 night extension ------------ After darshan return back to Camp, stay at Govt’s Camps. Dinner at Lunger & overnight stay at Panchtarni.
- Next Day Morning board the helicopter for Baltal.

- Breakfast ay free for local Sightseeing of Srinagar. Visit Mughal garden. At evening, enjoy Shikara ride in world famous Dal Lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel or House boat.

Activities
- Breakfast, check-out from the hotel & proceed for Katra by road (270 Kms/8 Hrs drive). On arrival at Katra, check-in at the hotel in Katra for dinner & overnight stay.

Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan
Activities
- Start Day early & morning, get dropped at Banganga to start the holy journey to Mata Vaishno Devi Darshan. From here start the trek of 13kms (one way) to reach the shrine of Mata Devi. En route darshan of Ardhkuwari. By reaching the temple perform Pooja, aarti, darshan and seek the blessings of Mata Vaishno Devi. Spend some time in the shrine of Mata Devi. Later start the trek back to Katra. If needed one can opt the helicopter service/Pony/Palki to reach the shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi from Katra (at own cost). Same day return back to Katra for overnight stay.
