Tour overview
The Manimahesh Yatra 2025 is an ancient pilgrimage in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh dedicated to Lord Shiva. It ends at the stunning Manimahesh Lake, located below the majestic peak of Manimahesh Kailash Yatra 2025 at an altitude of 4,080 meters. Pilgrims embark on the trek in the auspicious month of September, often seeking blessings for health and prosperity. The entire journey is imbued with spirituality, with devotees chanting prayers and performing rituals along the way. Picturesque landscapes, lush valleys and vibrant culture enrich the experience. The Yatra symbolizes devotion, resilience and a connection with nature. Local traditions, including sacrifices and festivals, enrich the atmosphere of the pilgrimage. It remains an important spiritual event for many, attracting thousands of people every year.

Day 1 : Bharmour Arrival
Arrive at Bharmour and visit Bharmani Mata Temple – Bharmour (6 km trek on arrival day)
Early in the morning, after breakfast and lunch, trek to Bharmani Temple. Bharmani Temple is located
on a ridge, 3 km from Bharmour. Return to Bharmour in the evening and check in to hotel)
Day 2 : Bharmour – Hadsar – Kugti (20 Kms by Taxi & 6Km Trek)
After breakfast and lunch early in the morning, take a taxi to Khadsar and then to Dhanauer. The actual trek to Manimahesh Parikrama starts from Dhanaul. After a 2-3 hour walk along the Bhujla River, you will reach the beautiful and unexplored village of Kugti. Kugti is the last village in Bharmour. Enjoy the rest of the day at the camp and rest.
Day 3 : Kugti – Kartik Temple - Dalotu (08 Kms Trek)
At around 6:00 am, after breakfast and lunch, you will start trekking to Kartik Temple. This temple is dedicated to Kartik, the son of Lord Shiva. After reaching Kartik Temple, enjoy the beauty of the surroundings and have lunch. After lunch, drive to Dalotu, another beautiful camping site. Upon arrival, check in to the campsite and enjoy the rest of the day.
Day 4: Dalothu – Base Camp (10 km trek)
After having breakfast at the camp in the early morning, the troops walk through the dense forest, cross the stream on the wooden bridge and then crawl along the stream bank for half an hour. After half an hour of straight high mountain trekking over boulders, the trail climbs steeply for another hour and a half to two hours to reach Alias. After lunch at Alias campsite, enjoy the rest of the day and rest in tents after dinner for one night.
Day 5: Base Camp – Chobu Pass – Kamal Kund – Manimahesh (12 km trek)
The 12 km Alias – Manimahesh Lake trek is completely dependent on the weather and the physical condition of the trekkers.
Generally, the guides do not take any risks and will not allow the pass to be crossed in bad weather and wait for the sky to clear. If the sun is shining, leave early in the morning around 5:00 am and have a simple breakfast and packed lunch. After a stretch of moraine, a generally visible snowy path winds upwards, is trampled and connected to the trail. After crossing the pass, the troops follow a slow up and down path that takes half an hour to reach the destination, Kamal Kund. Kamal Kund is a small lake dedicated to Lord Shiva. After some time at Kamal Kund, head to Manimahesh Lake. After reaching Manimahesh Lake, take a dip in the lake and spend the rest of the day at Manimahesh Lake.
Day 6 : Manimahesh – Gaurikund – Dhancho –Bharmour (14Km Trek & 14 Kms by Taxi)
After having breakfast at the camp in the morning, the troops trek down the mountain to Gourikund. Visit Gourikund and stay at Gourikund for half an hour before further trekking to Dhancho. After reaching Dhancho, enjoy the waterfalls, have lunch and rest. After resting, trek to Hadsar. After reaching Hadsar, take a taxi to reach Bahmur. In Bahmur, you check into the hotel and visit the ancient Chourasi temple in the evening.)
Day 7 Departure from Bamur
After breakfast, the troops set out from Bamur.
